The flat was too small and the table too crowded, which is how it became home. Nearly Magic opens with bergamot and burnt sugar, then wraps a heart of cinnamon, nutmeg and a warm milk accord around a soft orange blossom. Tonka, sandalwood and vanilla close it; the sillage is hearth-warm and welcoming, the scent of a door that is always on the latch.
