Darker than the original and considerably less forgiving. Extrait No. 41 begins with cognac and blood orange, then descends into a heart of cacao, cinnamon and rum-soaked raisin that tastes like a bar bill rounded up. Smoked vanilla, oakwood and benzoin form the base; the trail is dense, sweet and expensive — everything an overdue debt should smell like.
